Banks' Seafood Kitchen

Great place to eat. Food was delicious and it had variety of different kind of seafood. I love crabs that were fantastic here!! I really liked this place and will definitely going back.

Our party of six spent New Year’s Eve dinner at Bank’s and had a fantastic evening experience. The food was spectacular, the service was perfect, and the ambiance is great. Just by chance, the City of Wilmington fireworks display took place just outside the windows right in the middle of our meal. Who could ask for more? I had the sea scallops and they were perfect. Everyone at the table loved their meals.

The location is waterfront on the river. Even if you don't sit outside you will have water views through the big windows. The food and drinks are excellent. The scallops I had were cooked perfectly and had zero grit to them. They melt in your mouth. They had a nice assortment of seafood....crab cakes, crabs, fish, scallops, etc. They have some unique preparations so it isn't just a piece of grilled fish so to speak. It was an enjoyable environment. I would love to go back when I am in the Wilmington area. Just be prepared that some homeless people may approach you on the riverfront. It is very close to some undesirable areas of Wilmington. I would not personally go there at night alone, but if you go in the daytime or with others you will be fine.
